  • Arts

  • Available from the county arts advisor:
  • General craft box
  • Lace making kit
  • Quilling box
  • Pergamano box
  • Pyrography kit
  • Encaustic art kit
  • Blitzer and air brushing kit

  • Disability Awareness

  • Available on loan from the county adviser for members with disabilities. The boxes contain practical activities for units to encourage awareness of the following disabilities:
  • Visual impairments
  • Hearing impairments
  • Physical disabilities

  • Music

  • The following equipment is available on loan via the County Music Adviser:
  • 12 ocarinas
  • 2 sets of chime bars

  • PR and Recruitment

  • The following display equipment is available on loan from the county store, contact Pat Tarry :
  • marler haley display stands (large)
  • portable table-top display stands x 2
  • Banner stands are available for loan from Girlguiding UK.

  • Radios

  • The county owns 6 two-way radios. These are available on loan from the county store, contact Pat Tarry. The radios are available free of charge for guiding events. A small charge is made for use in connection with non-guiding events or by out-of-county users. If a larger number are required, Girlguiding South West England also have two-way radios, compatible with the county ones.

  • Training

  • The following training equipment is available available on loan from the county store, contact Pat Tarry :
  • Portable overhead projector
  • Flip chart easel
  • All members of the county training team also have their own county training box and whiteboard for use when training.

  • Showtime Costumes

  • The showtime costumes are available for hire from the showtime wardrobe co-ordinator. A full list of the costumes available will be posted here shortly.
