Young Women's World Forum 2011
- •Are you a young woman aged between 20 and 30?
- •Do you have an interest in helping achieve the Millennium Development Goals?
- •Do you want to develop the skills and confidence to bring about change in your community?
- If you have answered 'yes' to these questions, we would like to invite you to nominate yourself to take part in the Young Women's World Forum 2011 (YWWF 2011). This event takes place between 19 and 26 March 2011 at the four WAGGGS World Centres simultaneously.
- The Forum in 2011 is the second in a series celebrating the global Centenary of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting.
- The first Young Women's World Forum (2010) is being organised by WAGGGS and Girlguiding UK, and the final event will be organised by WAGGGS and Girl Scouts of the USA in 2012. The focus for all three events will be the WAGGGS' Global Action Theme: girls worldwide say 'together we can change our world', which addresses the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which aim to eradicate extreme poverty by 2015.
