Do you know someone in your District or Division who is special; whom you feel deserves special recognition for what they do for Guiding in Hampshire West? If there is someone who matches these criteria, have you thought about applying for a County Good Service award for them? It is impossible for the County Awards Committee to know all of our volunteer leaders and the wonderful work they do locally. It is a great pity if people are overlooked for this award.
How to apply.
If you are uncertain about whether to nominate someone for an award why not contact your District or Division Commissioner to discuss the matter. If you would like to go ahead and nominate someone please complete the application form and send it with along with at least 3 letters of recommendation to the Chairman of the Awards committee Mrs Gill Pope (details can be found on the application form).
The Awards Committee meets twice a year normally in May and November so applications need to be with the Chairman by the 1 May and 1 November respectively.
